Marion is absolutely wonderful and completely indispensable to us.
Knowing that our pets -- and our home -- are in Marion 's exceptionally
capable and caring hands gives us complete peace-of-mind whenever we
are away. And most important, our dog and four cats are so much happier
staying in their own home than being cooped up at a boarding facility.
In the three+ years since Marion has been our petsitter, our family of
pets has expanded -- and the care regimen has grown ever more
complicated -- but as a seasoned professional, Marion expertly and
enthusiastically meets each new challenge, whether medical or
behavioral. She is a master of detail, and stringently follows all our
instructions. The paperwork side of things is also superb: from written
confirmations of advance bookings, to detailed checklists and daily
notes on each pet during our absence. Marion also leaves updates via
voicemail when we are gone for added comfort and reassurance.
In addition to the wonderful TLC that she gives our pets,
Marion also takes excellent care of our home. Over the years, several
household emergencies have occurred in our absence, and she has taken
care of them for us. It's extremely reassuring to know that our
wonderful petsitter is there to forestall catastrophe in the event of
burst pipes, broken sprinklers, etc. She always goes the extra mile --
whether for our pets or for our home.
Marion has thoroughly impressed us with her extraordinary
professionalism, reliability, and expertise. And -- last but not least
-- our pets adore their "Auntie M," too!

Marion has been our petsitter for many years. She has
seen our furry family grow, and unfortunately at times helped us
through sad times of losing a beloved pet. All our pets truly
love Marion and look forward to each and every one of her visits.
Marion has extensive knowledge regarding pet health, and even has
wonderful suggestions when they just seem to be a 'bit off'. On
several of our vacations Marion has stayed at our home with our
pets. This has given us not only the peace of mind that the pets
are safe and secure in their regular routines, but also that our home
was safe and secure. Marion's services have also given us the
comfort of knowing that we don't have to impose on friends to stay
with, or check in, on our pets. Our home is always well taken
care of and neat, or at least as neat as we left it. With two
large dogs and three cats that can always be a challenge!
On one of our vacations we were having some construction work done
and had tried to get as much done before Marion was scheduled to sit
for us. Even though the construction was halted Marion still
acted as a liason for us between the carpet people who needed some
decisions made while we were away. Marion faxed us at our hotel
the forms we needed to complete so work could go on when we
returned. She also left us daily voice mails and detailed notes
of the activities of each of our pets. When we returned it was as
if we were home and hadn't missed any of their antics!
Recently we were relocated across the country due to my husband's
job. Of all the 'things' we miss the most is our pet sitter,
Marion. When we had our home on the market she was there to help
with the dogs and cat so we could have an open house without the worry
of any of the pets either getting out or frightening a potential
buyer. Marion took the dogs to the dog park and found a safe home
for our cat, we only had one at the time, to stay. When it was
time to actually move we decided to fly to our new home and Marion was
once again there to save the day! We were taking the cat in the
cabin with us, but the dogs were too large to fly in the cabin so they
had to fly in cargo. Marion helped us find a truly wonderful
company that took care of all the travel details, the dogs were able to
fly on the same plane that we were on and thus eased most of my
anxiety of flying them. Marion went with us to the cargo area to
be sure the dogs made their flight as we had to get our luggage and
ourselves checked in at the airlines.
In summary we would recommend Marion's services to anyone who is
looking for a pet sitter. She is knowledgeable,
professional, caring, and responsible. Any pet who has Marion as
their pet sitter is indeed a lucky and loved pet!
